Women's Circles; Finding Deep Connection Through Sharing Stories and Holding Space

Bringing women together in community has been a growing passion of mine since the start of the pandemic. Women meeting at coffee shops, going out to dinner, heading to the beach, having a workout buddy at the gym, or a night out on the town is a fundamental part of us connecting. Not to mention, helping each other in times of need by babysitting our children, preparing a meal for us when we don't feel good, or simply bonding over downing an entire carton of ice cream together when words just won't help any further. When the world shut down, so many of us were feeling isolated and alone. We had Zoom meetings and Face Time calls, but the conversations and connections just weren't the same. The Zoom meetings were work related and often filled with added stressors and Face Time calls were a source to connect, but I wasn't feeling a sense of community.
